And unto John Dyson, the son and heir of Henry Dyson, my son, to enjoy and occupy the same, jointly together and after her decease. I will the said tack or lease of Fenells with pertinances unto the said John Dyson, and all the rest of my goods and chattels and debts not bequeathed, my debts, funeral expenses and legacies satisfied, converted and paid, I give and bequeath unto my said wife Elizabeth, for her natural life if she so long keeps herself sole and unmarried, and unto the said John Dyson, my grandson, equally divided between them, provided that if my said wife marries or dies, then my will is that immediately after the day of her marriage or death, that the said John Dyson shall have and enjoy all the legacies, and every part and parcel thereof, to my said wife given, bequeathed or assigned, any clause or sentence in this my present testament or last will mentioned to the contrary, not withstanding that the said John Dyson paying unto her £6.13s 4d. And returning all the goods she brought unto me at the time of her marriage
Also that if the said John Dyson does not marry Ann Laugher, then my will is that the same John Dyson shall have and enjoy none of any legacies above to him, by me bequeathed, and I will that the same legacies and every part and parcel thereof shall be distributed to the poor people, at the aforesight and discretion of my said wife, Henry Emme and Bayle Biston.
I make Elizabeth my wife and John Dyson executors, to execute and fulfill my present testament and last will accordingly, and I do make Henry Emme and Bayle Biston my overseers to see that the same be executed and fulfilled. Witnesses thereunto Thomas Laughe and John Steward, with others, given the day and year mentioned.

Henry’s father was also Henry and born about 1470. Henry born about 1470 produced the following children; William who lived at Peopleton, a female who married John Fincher, Richard, who was the Vicar of Tardebigge between 1537 and 1546, Margaret who was a nun at Cookhill Priory in 1531, and Thomas who married an Elizabeth.
The details of these generations have been confirmed by documents traced to Worcester Record Office, being ‘Visitations dated 1566 and 1634’, I attach a copy of the 1634 document.
