Thomas Dyeson was married at Kempsey on 14th October 1784 to Joyce Aspee. At the time of the marriage Thomas was obviously residing at Croome D’Abitot because his banns are recorded in the Parish Register for Croome D’Abitot.
As Thomas’s banns were read at Croome D’Abitot he was obviously resident and working within the Parish in 1784. Croome House and Park was the estate of the Right Honourable George William Earl of Coventry in the Counties of Worcester, Warwick and Gloucester. I have searched the archives for Croome Park and have traced Thomas as listed in Rent Rolls for the Estates for the half year of Michaelmas in 1787 as renting property at Pirton, just north of Croome, for the sum of 15 shillings, (75p). He continues to be shown in the rent rolls but moves to Croome D’Abitot in 1788. Extracts from these records are shown below.
