Harriet and George had the following children;
James born 1845 at Croome D’Abitot Jane baptised 17th May 1846 at Severn Stoke, who had an illegitimate daughter Elizabeth in 1865 at Seven Stoke. George baptised on 20th May 1849, who married Mary and had two children John born 1878 and George born 1880. In the 1881 Census they are living in Epsom and George is employed as a Stableman. William baptised 11th May 1851, Louisa baptised 9th December 1855, Charles baptised 1st April 1857, Amelia baptised 25th February 1859, Edward baptised 4th November 1860 who died in May 1867, and Susanna baptised 24th March 1863 who had an illegitimate son Edward in 1880.. All the children where baptised at Severn Stoke, and living either at Clifton or Sandford Severn Stoke. Both were farms within the estates of Lord Coventry.

George Matty’s death is recorded in the Parish Records for Severn Stoke as being buried on 20th May 1866 aged 38 years. I can find no trace of a death or burial of Harriet Matty so I assumed that she had remarried
