On the floor adjacent to the font, which dates from AD 1200 and probably originates from the original Saxon Church and is typical of late Norman design, is another stone dedicated to Henry Dyson.
This states; ‘Here lieth the body of Henry Dyson son of Thomas and Mary Dyson his wife who departed this life November the 29th AD 1716 aged one year.
