    In the name of God Amen ,the 9th day of April in the eleventh year of Her Majesties Reign, that now is 1713, I Edward Dyson of the Parish of Inkberrow in the County of Worcester, Yeoman, being, I bless, God, in good and perfect health both of body and mind do make and ordain, this my last will and testament in manner and form following: that is to say, First I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God, my creator, hoping through the mercy of Christ, my Saviour, to have commission of all my sins and to receive everlasting life. And my body I commit to the earth, to be decently buried in the manner following: that is to say I desire my executrix, hereinafter named, to take care that I may be buried by my Grandfather, in the church porch of Inkberrow, and to be carried thither by twelve men to whom I give 12 pence a piece. Also I give to Mr George Mason, Rector of Kington, 10/- to preach my funeral sermon, in case he should survive me, if not, then any other Minister who my executrix shall appoint.

    Item: I give to the poor of the Parish of Inkberrow the sum of 40/- to be equally distributed to them by the Church Wardens  on the next Lords Day after my funeral..

    Item:I give to my good friend Mr Mason, the sum of 5/- for his care and kindness in keeping my will.

    Item:And for, and touching the rest of my worldly Estate, whether it be in goods or in ready money, or in money paid out upon mortgage, or Bond, I give and bequeath it wholly to my loving sister Ann Cookes of the Parish of Stoke Prior, who I also constitute and appoint my sole executrix of this my last will and testament. In witness thereof I have here unto put my hand seal, the day and year first written.
