Notes
- To date I have been unable to trace the Birth or Baptism of Thomas Dyson. He appears in the 1851 Cenus as the grnad son of Joseph Dyson at High Green Worcester. He is shown as 1 year old born in Upton on Severn. He is no doubt the illegitimate issue of one of Joseph's daughters. At 1850 some of his daughters were already married; Joice married William Jeans in 1842, Harriet William Matty in 1845. He could therefore be the issue of Sarah b 1826, Anne b. 1828, Eliza born 1830, Martha b 1831, or Elizabeth b 1838. It may be that the mother was Martha who was in service in Upton on Seven in 1851 and married George Finch in 1852. However on Thomas's marriage certificate to Emma Parker in 1874 he shows his father as Henry Bubb. Henry Bubb appears on the 1851 Cenus as a Lodger in the house of Joseph Dyson, at High Green aged 42 years born in Upton on Severn. Joseph's daughters living at home at the time of this census are Ann, and Elizabeth, I have currently shown Thomas as the issue of Eliza until I can prove to the contrary
